2017 annual report & appeal

The 2017 Annual report & Appeal, introduced last weekend, will appear in parishioners' mailboxes later this month. Other than two fundraisers during the year, this is the our only other annual appeal for gifts. Please consider a new gift using envelopes, EFT or online giving, or take the next step and increase your current offertory to assist with our operations. If you do not recieve the mailing, you might not be a registered parishioner! Help us serve you: please complete and return the census card found in the back of the church or here, so we can notify you of events and assist you.

There are a variety of easy to give back to help support the parish family. Give to the Local Community, the Archdiocese of Baltimore, or directly to CCSB. CCSB also supports the community through Our Daily Bread and other programs. As part of the Archdiocese of Baltimore, we encourage our community to give to the Archbishop's Annual Appeal.

Burying the dead is one of the Seven Corporal Works of Mercy. The other works include feeding the hungry, caring for the sick and visiting the imprisoned. These Works of Mercy remind us of the need to give dignity to the body in life and in death. The body is the Temple of the Spirit since each of us are made in the likeness of God. The body in life and death, therefore, should be respected fully.
