Join the CCSB Young Adults for a GRAND ADVENTURE in Shenandoah National Park!
Date: Saturday, July 12th
We will be meeting at the Holy Cross parking lot at 6:45AM and departing at 7:00AM sharp. We will return in the evening.
We will be doing the Overall Run Falls hike on the North side of Shenandoah National Park trekking our way to a group of lush swimming holes with a natural waterslide at the bottom of the mountains. We will spend a couple hours swimming in the holes before heading back. There will be great waterfall and Mountain View’s along the way paired with the company of your fellow parishioners!
Disclaimer this will be a strenuous hike. We will be doing about 10 miles with 2800 feet of elevation gain. The hike will be difficult, but the sights, experience, and memories will be well worth it! This will be an ALL DAY event.
The cost of the event will be $10 per person to cover gas and park entrance fees, please Venmo CCSB9 with memo ‘Shenandoah’.
Breakfast will not be provided so please eat before or bring it with you. We will stop along the way to get sandwiches to bring on the hike for lunch. We will stop for dinner on the way back as well.
