Catholic Community of South Baltimore is proud to host the Federal Hill Easter Egg Hunt! This longstanding neighborhood tradition is always held in Federal Hill Park, the day before Easter.

Save the date for April 4, 2026!

To participate:

  • Option 1: donate $1 and a dozen filled plastic eggs (nut-free), and drop them off:

    • Vestibule of Holy Cross (108 E West St, 21230) or Good Counsel (1532 E Fort Ave, 21230) before or after Mass the weekend of March 21/22

    • Bring to Outdoor Mass in Latrobe Park on March 29 at 11am

    • Drop off to the office (110 E West St, 21230) Monday through Thursday from 9am to 3pm by April 1

    • Email Beth Mayr to coordinate another time: beth.mayr@archbalt.org

    • Please do NOT tape the eggs

  • What if I have items to donate - empty Easter eggs, trinkets, stocking stuffers, goodie bag stuffers, etc?

  • Can I volunteer?

    • Yes!

      • We need lots of setup and cleanup volunteers! Please contact beth.mayr@archbalt.org if you can help.

      • We also need help during the event (games and crafts, eggs, etc)! All during-event volunteers must complete the VIRTUS eligibility process in advance. Please email Beth Mayr at least 2 weeks before the event if interested.

      • Volunteers receive free coffee, plus their kids participate for free!

  • May I donate to support the event, even if I don’t have a child participating?
