Do you want to participate in an ancient Christian tradition right here in Maryland?...then you might be interested in a pilgrimage!
Join Fr. Alex for a parish pilgrimage to the St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Shrine in Emmitsburg, Maryland (~1 hour away) on November 21st from 8:15am to 2:30pm. This is where this holy woman lived and where her remains are to this day. A private tour and private Mass will form the center of the day.
Why? : Elizabeth Ann Seton is the first canonized native-born American Saint. When we make pilgrimages to the tombs of the saints, we learn about them, they pray for us, and we are inspired in our own faith. It is sure to be a time of peace and communion before Thanksgiving week.
