Catholic Counseling:

CCSB has a Catholic Counselor on-site a few times a week, for anyone who is interested. Hear from Katie herself:

My name is Katie Pestka, and I'm excited to share about a new opportunity available right here at the parish. I'm a licensed graduate professional counselor offering mental health counseling to adults, children, couples, and families. Before pursuing my master's in clinical mental health counseling, I served as a Catholic missionary on college campuses for several years, then taught religion and served as a campus minister for high school students.

I'm here to walk alongside individuals and families who may be struggling with anxiety, depression, grief, major life transitions, or relationship challenges. What makes this service unique is that all counseling is rooted in Catholic values and consistent with Church teaching, so you can trust that your faith and your healing journey will work hand in hand. Sessions are confidential, affordable, and designed to support your mental, emotional, relational, and spiritual wellbeing.

If you or someone you know could benefit from counseling, I'd love to connect with you. If you have any questions, want to connect, or to make an appointment, feel free to email me at counseling.katiep@gmail.com or call me at (240) 621-2267.

Please let us know if we can help you in any way.
